Nova ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Nova app, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
By using the Nova app, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
Data We Collect
We only collect what is necessary to run the app.

How We Use Your Data
- Service delivery — calculating your birth chart, generating Nova's responses, and displaying your transits.

- Security — detecting and preventing abuse or unauthorized access.
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties for advertising purposes.
Third-Party Services
We use the following sub-processors to operate the service:
Each sub-processor is bound by its own privacy commitments. We do not use any other sub-processor to process your personal data beyond those listed above.
Data Retention
- Account and profile data: kept for as long as your account exists.
- Conversations: kept so you can revisit your history, until your account is deleted.
- Deletion: you can request deletion of your account at any time (see "Contact" below). Your data is then permanently deleted within 30 days.
Security
We implement standard security measures, including:
- TLS encryption for all data in transit.
- Row-level security policies ensuring each user can only access their own data.
- Regular dependency updates and security reviews.
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We strive to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correction — request correction of inaccurate data.
- Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.

Children's Privacy
Nova is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of the app after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
