Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Nova mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify you of material changes through the App.
The Service
Nova is an iOS application that calculates your birth chart from your date, time and place of birth, and offers interpretations along with a chat with an artificial intelligence.
Accounts & Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Your account is identified anonymously, with no email or password. You are responsible for the device on which your account is active.
Subscription
Nova is offered with a free trial followed by a paid subscription:
Prices may vary by local App Store storefront. We may change our offers and their pricing with reasonable notice; existing subscribers will be informed before their next renewal.
Billing & Refunds
All payments are processed by the Apple App Store. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's payment terms. We never store your bank details.
The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.
Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple in accordance with its refund policy. We do not issue refunds directly.
Your Content
When you ask Nova a question, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that question in order to generate a response. We do not claim ownership of the content of your conversations.
You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, abusive, or that infringes a third party's rights.
Intellectual Property
The App, its design, code, and all original content are the exclusive property of Nova and are protected by copyright and other applicable laws.
You may not resell, sublicense, or distribute the App's underlying technology.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the AI models or prompts used by the App.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the App.
- Circumvent access restrictions or security measures.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these rules.
Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Astrological interpretations and AI-generated responses are provided for informational purposes and may contain inaccuracies. They are never a substitute for the advice of a qualified professional (doctor, lawyer, financial advisor, therapist, etc.).
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nova shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the App's settings. Your data will then be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. Your right to use the App ceases immediately upon termination.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the law applicable in your jurisdiction of residence as a consumer, without prejudice to any mandatory provisions that protect you.
